The anonymous man, who married his new wife in all her finery, apparently saw her in his room after the wedding and refused to believe that she was his wifewithout her make-up on.

Reports from Algeria, where the marriage took place, have stated that the bride was never without her make-up before the big day.

He was so stunned when he saw her face her reportedly said he thought she was a “thief who came to steal his apartment”.

A court source told Emirates 247: “The groom told the judge that he could not recognise his wife after she washed the make-up off her face.

“He said he was deceived by her as she used to fill up her face with make-up before their marriage.

“He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before their marriage, but when he woke up in the morning and found that she had washed the make-up off her face, he was frightened as he thought she was a thief."

The groom is demanding £13,000 damages for "psychological suffering".

Django Unchained actress ordered to rewrite apology letter to LAPD

Daniele Watts and her boyfriend are going back to the drawing board for their court-ordered apology letters to the cops and office workers involved in their lewd conduct arrest last September.

The “Django Unchained” actress and beau Brian Lucas now have until Aug. 26 to submit revised letters after a judge and prosecutors rejected drafts submitted this week as part of their May plea deal.

 “I’m glad they have to do a rewrite. No more excuses. She needs to say she was immature and she messed up and that she apologizes for creating the whole conflict,” arresting officer Jim Parker, now retired from the Los Angeles Police Department.

If you recall, the high-profile case started when someone called 911 saying the couple was having sex in a car on a Los Angeles street and Watts refused to show her identification to responding officers.

Watts, who is black, and Lucas, a raw foods chef who is white, later claimed they were victims of racial profiling and excessive police force and made a lot of noise that drew nationwide attention in the US.

After the video of the arrest leaked and it was determined that it wasn't racist, Watts and Lucas eventually pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace.

After pleading no contest to disturbance charges, Watts was ordered to apologize to the neighbors who reported the incident, and the police who were accused of racial profiling.

However, Watts and Lucas merely apologized to the police officer for disturbing 'your carefree coffee break' and thanked him for giving them the opportunity to shine a light on racial profiling.

The couple’s rejected apology letters also accused Parker of speaking “sarcastically” and criticized witnesses for being overly judgmental.

Ogun police commissioner orders men to shoot-on-sight kidnappers, ritualist

Ogun state police commissioner, Abdulmajid Ali, has ordered his men to shoot on sight any kidnapper or ritualist caught in the act. The commissioner gave the order at the state police headquarters in Abeokuta while parading some ritualists, armed robbers and kidnappers who were recently apprehended by the state police

"Criminal activities in the state are becoming alarming everyday in the state and drastic action has to be taken. Ritualists are killing people. We won't tolerate that. When you see them in action, they should be shot on sight. When you see them perpetrating action that are unholy, bring them down. Once you find any policeman that is not discharging his duty correctly, please report such. The Inspector General of Police, Mr.Solomon Arase, has initiated 'Stopthebribes' initiative to ensure effective policing. Anambra police arrest over 40 students for kidnapping and cult activities

40 suspects accused of involvement in criminal activities, including cultism, kidnapping, car snatching and vandalism, were paraded on Wednesday by the Anambra State Police Command.

Parading the suspects, the Commissioner of Police, Hosea Karma, said the cultists, aged between 14 and 16 years, were students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and the Federal Polytechnic, Oko.

Karma told newsmen that the boys, arrested at Obosi, were members of the Black Axe and Vikings, among other cult groups, insisting that the criminals found the town a safe haven to operate because of the recurring land crisis in the community.
Meanwhile, 48 youths from Obosi, who were brought to the police station during the parade, renounced membership of their various cult groups.

They were brought in 5 buses by the Obosi President General, Dan Igbokwubile. They also pledged to assist the community, the police and the state in fighting crimes. Karma disclosed that the suspects snatched 3 cars, while one of them was behind the kidnap of the personal assistant to the former commissioner for works in the state.
The police chief, who disclosed that “the other suspects specialised in vandalising communication masts and electricity cables,” commended Governor Willie Obiano for his support to the security agencies, also thanked the public for their cooperation, especially with useful information.

He listed some of the items recovered as locally-made shot pistols, cutlasses, axes, black and red candles (reportedly used for rituals), drums for their music, a lot of Indian hemp and handsets, among others.
Meanwhile, Karma said the police were now more determined to flush out criminals from their hideouts in order to maintain the existing peaceful environment in the state.

He urged students and young people to face their studies instead of resorting to crime, which does not pay, warning that the long arm of law would always catch them.

Stressing the collective need for government, communities and leaders to rid the state of all undesirable elements, he enjoined parents to monitor the activities of their children.

A suspected armed robbery gang have confessed to the police in Lagos that smoking "igbo" Indian hemp, led them into violent crime. The gang, was arrested by the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of Zone 2 of the Nigeria Police Force based at Onikan, Lagos.

One of them, simply identified as Chukwuemeka, says he was introduced into armed robbery after he joined the Igbo smokers in Ajegunle, a popular suburb in Lagos.

Chukwuemeka and three other members of his gang were arrested on July 23 at Ajegunle, while on their way for an operation.

They were actually going to snatch a Toyota car when luck ran out on them. Chukwuemeka, 32, who spoke to NAN at the Zone 2 headquarters, said that having been initiated into smoking Indian hemp he met different gangs involved in violent crimes. “I regret joining Indian hemp smokers. I am a commercial bus driver, but every evening after work, I go to Bola area of Ajegunle to smoke hemp.

“I met our gang leader, simply identified as Ogaga at the smoking joint. We exchanged telephone numbers. “And one Sunday, he called me to meet him at Bola that there was a business,’’ he told pressmen, lamenting his involvement in crime. “I left church after Sunday service to meet Ogaga. While at the place, he told me that there is one Alhaji that we will work for and get paid “When I heard the title Alhaji, I thought he was a politician.

“Few minutes later, one man came and introduced himself as Alhaji. He told us that he needs clean stolen cars to buy and promised to go with us in the operation. “Our job is to snatch the car at gun point and escape; and I agreed. “I regretted coming from the church to where they were planning to go and rob, yet, I agreed to the operation. It is the devil that pushed me.’’

Speaking to newsmen also, Ogaga, 29, who claimed to be a welder, said he was introduced to other members of the gang while in Ikoyi Prison for a similar offence. Ogaga claimed that after regaining his freedom from the prison, he got connected to one Alhaji Onile, who requested him to recruit men to steal cars for him to buy.

“I live at No. 45, Ojo Road, Ajegunle. I was in Ikoyi prison between 2009 and 2010 for alleged robbery. I was awaiting trial before I was granted bail. “I was introduced to robbery by one inmate in the prison called Godswill, a.k.a. Commando to one Alhaji Onile. It was after my bail that we decided to rob cars for Alhaji.

“We have two locally made pistols and cartridges brought by other members of the gang. I also introduced other members to Alhaji,’’ he confessed. 

Another of their members, called Daniel, 28, who claimed to be a sailor in Port Harcourt, said he met Ogaga at new Road Bridge, Bola, Ajegunle.

Daniel said he went there to smoke Indian hemp, stressing that Ogaga requested for hemp from him claiming that he had no money to buy that day.

“I bought for him and then we became friends. He told me that he has a contact from prisons that would fetch them money. “He said he knows one Alhaji who requested them to work for him. We called Aljhaji and he promised to see us the next day. “Alhaji came and met us in front of Tolu Medical Hospital, Ajegunle. It was at that place I met Chukwuemeka.

“Alhaji said that he would take us to a place where he would show to us nice cars that he wants us to steal for him to buy. “He gave us N3,000 to take care of ourselves. The second day, he came with his driver and met us at Koriola Street, Ajegunle, close to where we usually smoke hemp.

“We entered his car and were about driving to where we would carry out the operation when SARS men stopped us and arrested everybody. “I regretted being a member of this gang. We would have carried out the operation, but for the arrest,’’ Daniel said.

The last of the four, Oluchukwu, 27, who claimed to be a musician in Anambra, said he came to Lagos to see his brother, one Emeka in Ikoyi Prisons. Oluchukwu said Emeka had been in prison since 2011 for an alleged murder case, adding that his brother gave him Ogaga’s phone number to meet him for assistance.

He said he had not been to Lagos before the arrest, noting that Ogaga was to take to him to Ikoyi prisons to see his brother. Oluchukwu said he was arrested by the police at Cele bus stop, while hoping to see Ogaga who had asked him to wait at the bus stop.

“Unfortunately for me, I was arrested and only to discover that the Ogaga I was to meet was already in the custody of the police."

Reacting to their arrest, the Deputy spokesman of Zone 2 Police Command, ASP Adeyanju Shem, said the police had been on their trail but had only arrested these four and hoped to arrest other gang members.

South African First Lady Involved in a Plot to Poison Husband, President Jacob Zuma

South African First lady Nompumelelo Ntuli-Zuma has reportedly admitted to knowing about a plot to poison the president.

The City Press reports it has well-placed sources indicating she will soon be charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Ntuli-Zuma was apparently banned from the Nkandla homestead earlier this year following claims of a plot to poison Zuma.

It’s understood a docket has been opened with the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) with sources saying Ntuli-Zuma has made a statement to investigators.

The City Press is reporting that while sources in the NPA say top bosses are aware of the matter, spokesperson Vuyo Mfaku has denied this.

An investigation is now underway to find out whether NPA staff leaked information about the probe.

Ntuli-Zuma was first suspected when the president became ill in June 2014.

Zuma was told that he had been poisoned by more than one doctor during his trip to the US in August last year.

SHOCKING !!! Father Abandons Dead Toddler Daughter to Decompose in Her Crib (Photos)

A 21-month-old girl whose decomposed body was found in her crib in an Ohio apartment is being mourned by hundreds of people who didn't know her but were moved by her story.

Her father, Eric Warfel, 34, was ordered held on a $1 million bond on July 30 after being charged with abuse of a corpse. He was arrested after a cable television technician was allowed inside his apartment to upgrade the service and found the body of 21-month-old Ember Warfel in her crib.


A magistrate in Medina read from a report at the bond hearing that said Warfel told police Ember died June 18 and he hadn't informed family members or anyone else about her death. The report said Warfel had put garbage in the girl's room to mask the smell and had moved into a motel with a 7-year-old daughter. Police found Warfel and the girl Wednesday at a shopping center in the Cleveland suburb of Westlake.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine how Ember died. Additional charges are expected, police said.

Medina police said Thursday that a substance suspected to be cocaine was found during a search of Warfel's hotel room.
.Warfel and his ex-wife, Malinali Galdamez, had another child who died. Five-month-old Erin Warfel died March 31, 2013, after being taken by paramedics to a hospital while in full cardiac arrest, according to an autopsy report. Her death was ruled as "sudden unexplained infant death."

Warfel and Galdamez married Feb. 14, 2012. A divorce decree indicates the 7-year-old has the same last name as her mother. The girl was removed from Warfel and Galdamez's home before their divorce by the Cuyahoga County Department of Job and Family Services and moved in with Warfel's parents.

Galdamez did not seek any parenting rights beyond limited visitations. There are numerous references in the divorce decree to her substance abuse problems. It was Galdamez's fifth marriage and Warfel's first. Medina Police Chief Patrick Berarducci said Galdamez lives somewhere in New York.

Prosecutors asked for a high bond because they consider Warfel a flight risk. The magistrate said Warfel had previously discussed moving out of state. He told the magistrate Thursday that he last worked for an insurance company in 2012.

Bounty hunters mistakenly target sheriff's home

A group of bounty hunters searching for a wanted fugitive only realized they picked the wrong house Tuesday, when the angry local police chief emerged, shirtless.

NorthStar Fugitive Recovery owner Brent Farley, 43, was charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct after his group and another contingent of bounty hunters mistakenly targeted the home of Phoenix police chief Joseph Yahner.

NorthStar and Delta One Tactical Recovery allegedly besieged the house with 11 bounty hunters after receiving a tip on social media pointing them toward a fugitive. After watching the house for two hours, the teams flipped on their headlights, shined flashlights inside the house and began banging on the door, police said. One of the men had his weapon unholstered, according to cops.

A video of the encounter viewed by the Arizona Republic allegedly shows someone yelling, “Roderick, open the door” before getting into a verbal argument with Yahner. After Yahner emerged, a “heated confrontation” ensued, according to Sgt. Trent Crump.

“After awakening [Yahner] from a dead sleep, he comes out in protection mode,” Crump said. “And when he does come out and he challenges them, I think they quickly come to realize [the mistake], with the exception of one of them.”
Farley would not leave the property and continued to give orders to Yahner, Crump said.

I Won’t Die Alone, Kidnap Suspect Sings

A kidnap suspect, Linus Nlemadim, from Egbelu Obube in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State, shocked his captors yesterday when he expressed readiness to reel out the names of his colleagues in crime.

Nlemadim was allegedly arrested in connection with the recent kidnap of one Eziopara Ben Anyanwu, an American-based indigene of the same autonomous community. Vanguard gathered from a source that the suspect, who made the promise soon after his arrest, vowed that he would not die alone.

“The suspect said he was ready to mention the names of members of the gang that were involved in the crime, and that there was no way he would die alone,” the source recounted.

The source also said that the suspect hinged his position on the fact since his associates, who were earlier arrested, had leaked their secret, he would not keep quiet and die alone.
He said:

“True to his threat, the suspect released the name of another colleague of his. This led to the arrest of his accomplice from Ngor Okpala Local Government Area. I believe they will be telling the police all they know about the alleged crime.”

A community leader told Vanguard that the two suspects, who linked Linus Nlemadim to the deal, were natives of Upe and Umunam in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area.
The source said one of the kidnappers was caught when he went to Umuovum, Ulakwo to sell an i-Pad they stole.

“The man, who indicated interest in buying the gadget unlocked the equipment, saw the images of the kidnapped Ben Anyanwu and quickly brought the police into the picture,” the source said.
